So I’ll just come right out and say it…the city we live in does nothing for me. Has tons of potential but nothing ever seems to come of it, lot’s of talented people but not many maintain or have the motivation to do something other then settle for whatever it might be there into. This bike your about to read about and look at has truly made me proud of something (NON VaG related) that came out of this place.





The Butcher Shop has been building bikes for more then a few years now. There just a good group of people, many I call dear friends, who go to work everyday and earn their livings and build bikes for the purity and soul of doing something themselves with their own hands that they truly love. The boys at the shop took on a project for a friend of the shop. It was almost two years in the making but it truly paid off.








From front to back, every inch of this bike was thought out, planned and probably taken apart and done over more then a few times. Again to me it’s the subtle details that make things. This bike is full of them from the matching dipped wood look parts to the tweed covered wiring, it was wall thought about and done properly.








I was psyched to get a call from my friend Ed telling me it’s done and could use a photo or two. This bike needs more then a photo, my pictures truly don’t do it justice. Seeing it in person is a whole different story.








We took it on down to a local spot I’ve used before and spent some time shooting what you see here. Again I have to say I’m proud of these boys for pumping out a bike on this level. Now all they have to do is top it with the next one in the works. They sure have quite a task at hand.
