Brothers made in steel.

This post has been saved as a draft since December 29TH. Why? Because I have been lost for words. On December 10TH 2011 we lost a Friend a Brother. Edward Henry Andrews was a good friend of mine, I can remember countless times laughing with him, talking sports, talking VW’s. He was truly one of a kind. He was a real life living breathing Character, not sure from what but that is the best way I can describe him to those who have never been graced with his presents. He did some hilarious things and provided myself and many others moments in our lives we will never forget.

Not only was he a good friend but he was also the lead singer in a Beer throwing Beer spitting Beer drinking Punk band. Eddie And The Louvers!!! This band gained quite a following around our region, getting kicked out of places yet always providing a great time and some of my fondest memory’s to date. Eddie brought his charm to play with Bryan,Nick,Chris,Aaron and of course Chris Martin. These fella’s gave hundreds of people something to look forward to many many times. This is just one of the reasons Eddie will be missed.

When he wasn’t singing raspy beer drinking lyrics he worked as a VW mechanic. He was a dam good one. His passion besides music fell into the form of building bikes, custom choppers to be exact. Not those stupid paycheck chrome all over ones either. The bikes Ed loved where the ones built with blood boose and more boose. The bike in the post is one of the raddest ones to come out of The Butcher Shop. It was a bike Ed was proud of. I was amazed at the creation The Butcher Shop came out with. I shot it over a year ago now and it still amazes me. There are many many other things Ed was apart of,from creating things out of metal to fixing our hunks of metal to singing laughing and of course drinking. This is a man that will be missed forever. He will not be forgotten.

Tomorrow, January 7TH will be a day I will not forget. There is a benefit show in Providence RI for Eddie. It is bringing a group of friends together. Not to say goodbye to Ed but to celebrate him, to sing the words he sang when he wasn’t drinking and while he was drinking.
