H2Oi is what we all look forward to, each and every year, and often times the deadline for many builds.
This year was no different. There is nothing to write that you don’t know if you’ve been. The strip was on fire, the beers were flowing. It was great to see our old friends and meet many new ones.
One of the highlights of the weekend for us was More than More‘s Cars and Cameras photography event on thursday. The show Featured five ‘geng’ prints from Curtis, Jon, and Josh. Being a part of a new creative event, and seeing it become a reality was great!
The Show itself was excellent this year, being at the campground that was first used for the 2012 event and it seems to be working out quite well there. The weather was perfect and the quality of many builds was top notch. One of the biggest changes in vehicles I noticed this year, besides the growing numbers of non-vag cars(which I think is great for the most part), was the growing number of completed MK1s.
Overall we had a great weekend with great friends. Huge thanks to all of our CT fam(LISA!) for booking the condos and illstatic/getlow/slaw/fifteen52/stanceworks and friend of all for making great neighbors.
