Recently myself and a couple of friends made a trek down to Gardner to catch up with Derek B and his MK4 Jetta. Got to snap some pictures, drink some beer and hang out with Derek, his Wife, and a few other friends later in the evening. It was a killer time, and I was truly stoked on the spot that they had found.

Getting to watch the Jetta drive down the road was a treat in itself, The car looks great rolling down the highway. On side streets it marks it’s territory like a teenage dog, Scraping at almost every imperfection leaving it’s mark.

The color is a rarity to begin with, adding the RF’s in the same shade makes it pop even more.

This has become one of my favorites rolling around these days. I have always been a fan of simple stylings and small additions or deletions to a car this is one that stays simple but delivers in the classy, aggressive and S word category.

It was an awesome time hanging out with Derek for the day and doing what most of us love to do, Talk cars, music and whatever else all while enjoying a Cold adult beverage ha. Thanks again to Derek and his wife for hooking up the Wachusett and killer spot to shoot. The Gengstout,BrokeStatus and GetLow crew’s all have some killer plans in the works to end the season off right. Stay Tuned for Mayhem and Vag…..

Out of the 4 years I have attended this event, id have to say this was the best yet. After a couple location changes club broke.status nailed it, and I enjoyed that the event has gone back to non-classed parking. This was the first year I have gone up the night before, which I most definitely plan on doing in the future. First off, the saturday night shenanigans, and secondly and to get there on time since I don’t like mornings to much. After the “gengstout party time” at the super8 I was unfortunately a little less motivated than normal on Sunday with my photos. Either way, all of us had an excellent time all weekend, and it was good to see some familiar faces as well as meet some new friends.

Broke Down 2010

Well, the time has finally arrived: Brokedown 2010. This will be my first year attending at the newer location (KTR was the last broke.down event I attended) and I am super excited.
