In the long winter months of our lovely coast we strive to look for rad stuff to see and shoot. We are fortunate and surrounded by people who catch the “Bug” in the winter. The weeks between November and March are usually spent honing in the new projects, Wheels, Suspension, Bodywork… Those things are typical. Those things we see all the time, and of course there is nothing wrong with it. Recently Phil, Toby and I had the pleasure of getting what I would call a refresher course. A refresher course in an ear drum piercing 16V Turbocharged Banshee!





Now I won’t sit here and list a whole bunch of parts that do a ton of crazy Suck, Bang, Blow, As one of my favorite celebrities once said “Air goes in Witchcraft happens and you go faster”. Much Much faster. Kyle Vieira has had this Mk2 Coupe for about a year and a half. It started as an ABA swapped car, clearly that did not last long. The now 4 Speed coupe last produced 475 to the wheels, April 7Th of this year Kyle is looking to but down 550.





What I meant above by “refresher course” is that lately (myself included) Lots of people have been stuck on nothing but the “look” and “style” of things. It was truly good to see a car that has hours upon hours of work into it. It was good to see something focused on sending your stomach bits crashing into your spine while running a time that some Super Cars would be jealous of.

















No matter what the goal for a car, There is always time,money,heart,maybe even tears spent. It’s those things that we do for our Jalopies that some people may never understand. Whether it’s bags,wheels,turbos and other go fast bits we all share the same passion for our transportation devices. Some just have the ability to transport really really fast!
